Impotence Observed Rarely in Rural People
Impotence Observed Rarely in Rural People The low prevalence of impotence was observed among the rural people when the study of men in a rural community in America was conducted. The survey revealed an extremely low prevalence of impotence among the men living in villages. In the 1000 men only 1 man was found to be suffering with the impotence. Nearly the men from hundred villages were surveyed in this study. It was noted in some villages, not a single man was suffering from the impotence. When studied it was noted that the testosterone levels of these individuals were found to be much higher than the individuals living in the city.
It was observed that the immune system of the men living in the rural area was very powerful than the men living in the cities. Thus, the rural men have very few times suffered from any infections caused by bacteria or viruses. The rate of heart disorders was also observed to be very less in villages in comparison to the cities. Thus, the men from the rural area have very low prevalence of impotence. To check the fact that impotence is low in rural people, the group of scientists studied 2,000 men aged 20 years and older (mean age 33.2 years) in an isolated town in southeastern Brazil. All had completed survey questionnaires, including the International Index of Impotence.
One of the research workers from the group of scientists interviewed all of the men in the survey about their sex life. The results obtained were quite surprising because out of the 3000 men only 5 men had at least some degree of ED, prevalence much lower than reported previously in Brazil and worldwide, according to the reports published. In Brazil, data from a large, randomly sampled population-based survey indicated that 46% of men reported impotence. Thus, it was clear that men living in the cities are more prone to the impotence than the men living in villages. It was concluded that the impressively low prevalence rate of impotence is related to the particular lifestyle of people in this region of Brazil,” the investigators wrote. The reasons for the low prevalence of impotence are that the small town is remote from any large city; life in small towns of villages is still very calm. The food in such small villages and towns includes dairy products, fresh fruits and vegetables. The individuals living in the rural area are healthier than the individuals in the city.
It was finally concluded that the fast and stressful life in the cities is the main reason for the high prevalence of the impotence in the men living in the cities, whereas the low prevalence of impotence in the men living in the rural areas is because of the calm and stress-free life in the villages. The men living in the rural area are very healthy when compared with the men living in the urban areas. Thus, the low prevalence of impotence is observed in rural men.
